Activities

We, the members of Bidhannagar Sangi Sathi stand hand in hand to render service to the underprivileged and financially vulnerable people of our society.

Our prime areas of focus include:

Education : Scholarship to students pursuing general studies, medical, nursing, engineering.

Health : Medicine to Cancer, Haemophilia and Thalassemia patients

Elderly care : Providing clothes, necessary requirements and entertainment to the lonely old women at old age home.

Orphan care : Providing Food, Clothes, Study materials, Toys etc. at orphanage centers.

Care for Differently-Abled : Providing necessary items as required.

Help during natural disasters : providing food, clothes, tarpaulins and other essentials as well as fund transfer through authorised agencies.

MARCH: 2022

Suman Das has been suffering from blood cancer and we are with him with our limited resources for the last 3 years. We are glad that he is showing good recovery. At present he is studying in seven standard in a school at Minakha. His father Mahadeb Das is a casual labour. Yesterday we handed him a cheque of Rs 5000/-
We pray to God for his speedy recovery. Our blessings are with him and his family.

We took the initiative to set up a Children's Play Zone at Paediatric ward of National Medical College and hospital for entertainment of thalasaemia children who get admitted for treatment.
